Super Kids Scholarship Program

The Super Kids Scholarship Program was created to ensure that deserving young people receive the support, guidance, and educational opportunities they need to pursue a college education and build independent, successful lives.

The program focuses on students who have demonstrated resilience, drive, and the ability to overcome adversity.

Pathways to Education

Through the scholarship program, the Foundation for Good Business has awarded more than 120 scholarships, totaling over $1.2 Million in financial support to deserving students. The program has provided these students with a pathway to further education that otherwise would be impossible. Beyond financial assistance, the Foundation also serves as an advocate, providing mentorship, guidance, and ongoing support to help students thrive both in school and in life.

Recognizing Potential

Each candidate is recommended by someone in their community who recognizes their potential—such as a teacher, counselor, neighbor, or mentor. Once a recommendation is received, the student is required to complete an application and provide supporting documents which is soon after reviewed by the Foundation. Finally, potential recipients are invited for an interview to discuss their goals, challenges, and needs.

…a close, hands-on relationship with each student, helping them prepare for life after high school, navigate the college application process, and successfully transition into college or technical school.

If selected as a Super Kid, the Foundation begins a close, hands-on relationship with each student, helping them prepare for life after high school, navigate the college application process, and successfully transition into college or technical school. We generally begin working with students as they progress through high school, giving us time to support their growth and help them pursue additional scholarships, grants, and post-secondary opportunities. Funding provided directly by the Foundation may be used to cover the costs of education, including but not limited to, tuition, books, housing, meal plans, etc.
