Our Mission

The Foundation for Good Business empowers young people to build self-sufficient futures by providing mentorship, life-skills support, and opportunities that foster confidence, resilience, and personal growth.

We partner with schools, families, and communities to recognize and support outstanding students and remove the barriers that stand in their way. By investing in their development, we equip the next generation to thrive in school, work, and life and build a stronger future for North Carolina.

Our Mission in Action

Hear from our Super Kids about the impact of the scholarship on their lives:

“The support from this scholarship allowed me to put all my focus into my studies and work toward graduate school. I am now attending Duke University’s School of Medicine, where I am a first-year student earning my Doctor of Occupational Therapy.”

-Reagan, Super Kid at UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke University

“Super Kids acted as a launching pad for me to excel in high school and start the next chapter of my university studies at Stanford University for undergrad and Northwestern University for graduate school. I am very fortunate to have had the Super Kids program in my corner.”

-Lawrence, Super Kid at Stanford, Northwestern University

“I got a chance to walk through places I had never thought I would as a first-generation college student and someone from an underrepresented community… The Super Kids Foundation has been a pivotal part of my success.”

-Erendira, Super Kid at Campbell University, NC State
