Dalaney
Dalaney recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Economics. Post-graduation, she began a career as a Logistics Coordinator at Load One, a leading provider of expedited shipping and logistics services.
“I could not have done it without Super Kids! You have played a major role in helping me reach both my educational and occupational goals. Your support and encouragement have kept me motivated, and I am so proud and thankful to be part of the Super Kids family. Words cannot describe how grateful I am. Thank you for believing in me and helping me become the person I am today.”

Ashley
After losing her mother to Type I diabetes at the age of six, Ashley committed herself to becoming a doctor and helping others facing serious illnesses. While she always planned to pursue higher education, the path to achieving that dream presented significant challenges. After learning about the Super Kids Foundation in middle school, Ashley and her brother received critical support during her time of greatest need. Ashley is now pursuing her dream of attending medical school to become a physician.
“It is humbling to know that challenges can be overcome with encouragement and support from such caring individuals. I am extremely grateful to have been a part of the Super Kids program.”

Lawrence
Lawrence was first connected to Super Kids during middle school. After winning the school National Geography Bee and advancing to the state level, a guidance counselor recommended that he apply for the program. As a Super Kid, Lawrence was able to explore his love of tinkering and learning how things work. He went on to attend Stanford University for undergrad, and Northwestern University for graduate school, where he earned a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering.
“Super Kids acted as a launching pad for me to excel in high school and start the next chapter of my university studies. I hope that the program is able to continue helping young people in North Carolina to achieve great things for many years to come.”

Erendira
With the support of the Super Kids scholarship, Erendira pursued a bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish language, literature, and culture from Campbell University, as well as a certificate in Spanish interpretation. She later completed her Master’s in International Studies at NC State University. Erendira’s commitment to service has led her to work in the nonprofit sector, higher education, and now for a member of Congress.
“The Super Kids Foundation has been a pivotal part of my success. They helped me build a network of people who believed in my abilities. I was able to understand the intricacies of advocacy, and that grew my existing zeal for helping those from underrepresented communities. Everywhere I have worked, I have always made sure to give back.”
